Our network is fully redundant and powered by Cisco. We take full advantage of the BGP4 routing protocol for reliable connection to the Internet as well as other advanced protocols for the local area network to insure no single hardware failure will interrupt your connection. Our upstream connections take fully diverse paths utilizing SONET fiber and licensed microwave to diverse connection points within the city. The server farm is supported with diverse power feeds to the building
backed up by redundant and oversized UPS units and a standby generator.
Environmental as well as network parameters are closely monitored by
the local NOC. HVAC is provided by N+1 commercial AC units and backed
up by a totally independent split system in the building. The Host DFW data center is in a single tenant building in the high tech area of Dallas. Some of the most well known Internet companies are just down the street (Broadcast.com and Yahoo to name a few). With its geographically neutral location, Dallas enjoys benefit of not being impacted by earthquakes or hurricanes.
